Along with the scientific progress, the equipment of factories and laboratories kept improving and diversifying. Pulverizers, stirrers, pullers, refrigerators, sieving machines, bluteuses [1], mixers, washers, fat whisks, ball makers for cosmetics and dough, sterilizers, driers, etc were used. There is a very long list of machines and tools epitomizing the major role of technique in the cosmetic industry.
